Steam Train Journey For Two
Step back in time as you board a Cathedrals Express carriage hauled by a fantastic, historic steam locomotive. This range offers a choice of trips at least once or twice a year to Bath, Bristol, Chester, Worcester, Ely, Cambridge, Stratford, Weymouth and more, some of England's most beautiful cities. You'll have a few hours away from the train and can choose to spend your time either sightseeing or shopping - you decide! Then step back into the relaxing carriage and take in the smooth ambience of steam train travel for your return journey.
Availability
Selected date/s are available on each trip. Please book early to avoid disappointment; all booking is subject to limited running dates and availability.
Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 16. Smoking is not permitted on board. Only folding wheelchairs can be stored on board. Passengers need to be able to walk to their seat but can be aided by staff.
Weather
The weather should not affect your experience, however please note that the train runs on the public rail network and is subject to any imposed delays.
Duration
Most trips average approximately ten to twelve hours (depending on your choice of destination). You'll receive your tickets and a full itinerary shortly before your departure date.
Numbers On Day
There will be up to 64 passengers in your carriage. You will be seated on a table of four. All seating is allocated subject to availability on the day by the supplier and cannot be guaranteed.
Dress Code
Smart/casual wear. We recommend you dress comfortably.
