Feed The Penguins For Two In Hertfordshire
Begin your experience in the Discovery Centre with complimentary refreshments prior to being escorted to the Humboldt Penguin enclosure for a health and safety briefing. After a quick change into overalls and wellington boots you will be introduced to the group and help to prepare their fish before feeding them by hand. As you mingle with the penguins you will realise what unique animals they are, with each one displaying personality traits marking out its individuality. One of the park team remains on hand to assist and to help capture photographs on your camera. The package also includes a souvenir t-shirt and a certificate each to take home.
Availability
Daily throughout the year at 3pm.
Participant Guidelines
Participants must be aged 10 years or over. Under 16's must be accompanied by a voucher holding adult (i.e. aged 18 or over). The park is accessible so wheelchair users are very welcome.
Weather
Animals need to be cared for whatever the weather, so be assured your experience will always go ahead.
Duration
The experience lasts around 30 minutes.
Numbers On Day
This is a two to one experience with just the both of you and a park keeper.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome but will have to pay the standard entry fee to the park.
Dress Code
Wear old comfortable clothes.
Other Info
You are both welcome to arrive early and stay late to enjoy the other facilities within the park.
