The Worlds Wackiest Racers
Prepare for the wackiest day of your life! You'll ride in the world's fastest office! Strapped in your chair you'll have full use of the computers, conference table and water-cooler as you speed around the circuit. Then take a seat on the iconic leopard skin print 87mph sofa followed by the Double Decker car, where one driver in the top car controls the steering and one in the bottom car controls the pedals. Totally bonkers! Then it's onto the country roads in the world's fastest bed, tucked safely under the duvet. Wacky, weird and so very wonderful!
Availability
A weekend date will be held approximately once every two months from March to December.
Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 16 and maximum weight is 20 stone. You'll need to be an experienced driver, but you don't need a driving licence. Anyone with a back or neck injury should not take part.
Weather
Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions, when driving at speed might become dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.
Duration
Your experience lasts for around three hours. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of your booked time for refreshments and to ensure a prompt start. We also recommend you allow for extra time at the end in case the experience runs over.
Numbers On Day
You will share your experience with a group of 12 other eager participants.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome. The fee is £10, payable on the day, which includes a souvenir programme, light refreshments and goody bag. Please note that some of the spectator facilities aren't covered.
Dress Code
Dress warmly and comfortably. Wear flat-soled shoes and bring waterproofs if it's wet. Any special equipment you need will be provided.
Other Info
All vehicles conform to all vehicle safety standards and are street legal. Be aware that you will be in the driving seat only in the double decker car. The venue has disabled lavatories and good wheelchair access viewing areas.
