Helicopter Tour Of Nottingham Sporting Grounds
For sporting fans, this will be a helicopter flight you never forget. Take in views of the some great sporting venues in the area from over 1,000 feet. You will fly over the River Trent beyond which you will see the famous Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, Wollaton Park, Nottingham Castle and the football grounds of Nottingham Forest and Notts County as you have never seen them before. Availability
Flights operate on selected Saturdays at least five times a year.
Participant Guidelines
Minimum age 16 or over and . Wheelchair users need some mobility (i.e. be able to get into and out of the helicopter) and be accompanied by a participating adult.
Weather
This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial that you call the centre before setting out on the day to confirm with them that conditions are suitable for flying.
Duration
Your flight will last for around 15 minutes.
Numbers On Day
There will be up to two other passengers on the flight, plus the pilot.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome to watch you take off and land from the helipad. Please feel free to bring a pair of binoculars and a camera.
Dress Code
Wear soft-soled shoes and loose, comfortable clothing, as the cockpit can get warm. Skirts can get in the way of the controls, please wear trousers. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
