Welsh Whiskey Distillery Tour For Two
Visit Penderyn Distillery, the only one in Wales and the first to legally distil whisky in the country for more than 100 years. During a guided tour you'll see the still and bottling line in action and then visit the tasting room, where you can sample two of the distillery's products. There's also a fascinating exhibition about the history of whisky-making in Wales, including the last genuine Welsh whisky from Frongoch, near Bala. The distillery's excellent single malt was launched by His Royal Highness Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales, in 2004, and has gone on to win critical acclaim and a number of prestigious international whisky awards and medals.
