Half Day Introduction To Photography
It's time to get snapping! Starting inside before venturing outdoors, this fun half day experience will provide you with useable, practical and creative photography skills without overloading you with technical jargon. Ideal for complete beginners or those with some understanding of digital photography, you will learn vital information about how best to operate your DSLR camera effectively. Covering a range of skills including aperture, shutter speeds, exposure control, and the rules of composition to creatively improve your photography, this is a hands-on course that will teach how to produce stunning pictures that you'll want to keep - not delete! You'll also receive detailed course notes and a certificate of participation.
Availability
A Saturday or Sunday date at least four times a year.
Participant Guidelines
Minimum age 16. Participants don't need any previous photography experience, but must have a Digital SLR camera.
Weather
The course may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain). Please call the venue if in any doubt.
Duration
The experience starts at 9am and finishes at approximately 1pm.
Numbers On Day
There will be a maximum of 12 participants on the day.
Spectators
This experience is not appropriate for spectators.
Dress Code
The experience will begin indoors but much of it will take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately and wear suitable footwear.
